SUMMARY:2026 Fourth of July Flag Walk
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday with a morning of community\, reflection\, and patriotism. \nThis year\, we are proud to support event organizer\, Russ Lauf\, as he continues the tradition that started in Westmont five years ago. Looking ahead\, the ECMen Vets are preparing to take the lead for future walks\, but for this milestone anniversary\, we are honored to walk alongside Russ to make this the biggest year yet. \nLast year\, 85 participants joined the walk. For this milestone anniversary of our country\, our goal is to bring 250 people together to honor the red\, white\, and blue. \nEvent Details\n\nWhen: Saturday\, July 4\, 2026\nShowtime: 7:30 AM\nStart/End Point: Westmont Elementary School\nThe Route: A short\, 1-mile walk from the elementary school to the large flag overlooking the Incline Plane\, followed by a return trip to the school.\nConclusion: We will wrap up by 9:30 AM\, leaving you plenty of time for the rest of your holiday festivities.\n\nThis event is open to everyone. Grab your flags\, bring the kids\, and let’s fill the streets with stars and stripes! \nSpread the word and help us reach our goal of 250 participants!
