Looking ahead\, the ECMen Vets are preparing to take the lead for future walks\, but for this milestone anniversary\, we are honored to walk alongside Russ to make this the biggest year yet. \nLast year\, 85 participants joined the walk. For this milestone anniversary of our country\, our goal is to bring 250 people together to honor the red\, white\, and blue. \nREMEMBER TO BRING YOUR FLAG – WHETHER BIG OR SMALL – TO CARRY ON THE WALK! \nEvent Details\n\nWhen: Saturday\, July 4\, 2026\nShowtime: 7:30 AM\nStart/End Point: Westmont Elementary School\nThe Route: A short\, 1-mile walk from the elementary school to the large flag overlooking the Incline Plane\, followed by a return trip to the school.\nConclusion: Following our walk\, we will hear a biblical\, patriotic\, and historical message from veteran Craig Minnick. We will wrap up by 9:30 AM\, leaving you plenty of time for the rest of your holiday festivities.\n\nThis event is open to everyone. SUMMARY:Wilderness Warriors: Spring 2026 Camp Out
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun adventure at Camp Allegheny. We are still working out the details but we will meet up Saturday. Saturday afternoon we will play some “barbarian games”. That evening we will partake in a barbarian meal. No silverware and no manners 😝. \nFor anyone who feels up to it we will be staying in tents Saturday night. A pavilion is also included to cook and eat meals. George has several new tents that our group will be able to use\, so no excuses. Seriously though it may be chilly this time of year\, so no pressure to stay the night. Feel free to come and go during the activities on Saturday and Sunday. \nPlease RSVP a week or so ahead of time about what your plans will be so that I can give the Camp a headcount. \nOn Sunday morning\, we will have a short church service on our own. And on Sunday afternoon Camp Allegheny is hosting a free picnic and open house from 2:00-6:00. They will have many of their camp activities available for the boys to try. These include pony rides\, archery\, paddle boats\, a climbing wall and foam pit. I attached a flyer with some details. \nAgain if you can’t make it to the Saturday festivities still come on Sunday for the picnic and open house.

DESCRIPTION:The Wilderness Warriors will learn the basics of reading a map\, using a compass and other navigation skills. An instructor from Stackhouse Park will be teaching the skills. \nStackhouse park has a course set up that we can practice our new skills. We will probably break up into groups and find different waypoints that are set up.
