My name is Pat Carr. I’m a member of Emmanuel Church where we have a men’s ministry with ECMEN!

I wanted to let you know a personal testimony about using the Prayer Challenge Journal. I few weeks ago I started using the journal with some men who are involved in my life. As a Christian it was impressed on me early that being involved with other men was a top priority especially when it comes to discipleship. No man is an island and you cannot grow alone. God designed us to truly be a band of brothers seeking to become more like Jesus. This Journal can be a very effective part of this process. Daily I’m reminded of the men God has around me and the prayer requests they have. I have the ability to have these requests in front of me daily, and even have a place to put a record of an answer to those prayers. I am challenged to engage with each one of the five men I have listed weekly. There is also a section that enables me to keep a record of the things God is teaching me on a daily basis each week. I have been using the Journal for six weeks and I am amazed at all God is doing in my own life and the lives of the men I have invested my time and efforts in. It has provided me with an intentional opportunity to grow closer to the men I’m involved with and creating a pattern of discipline that can be used the rest of my life. I can’t wait to see what the next six weeks brings. With this Journal I also purchased the ECMEN Challenge Coin. A great reminder daily of the Armor of God mentioned in Ephesians 6:10-20. ( Don’t leave home without it!!!) I have really been challenged with the thought of how God has called us to be Warriors for Christ. The time is now so I challenge you!
