Wilderness Warriors: Hawk Watch
October 4 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
We’re heading to The Allegheny Front Hawk Watch. We’ll learning about hawks, eagles and other raptors as the migrate through the area.
It is a premier raptor observation and research site located on the Somerset and Bedford County border in Pennsylvania. Sitting at roughly 2,690 feet above sea level, it is considered the highest elevation hawk watch site in Pennsylvania. Offers a sweeping 180-degree view to the east from the high crest of the Allegheny Front.
Pray for nice weather. If the forecast looks bad we may have to pivot to something else.
